Hi Mom & Dad!
Mom, I am so happy for how much your have been doing lately. I am so happy to see how much the Lord is blessing you and dad while I am gone. I love that parable that you sent me. Elder Holland gave a talk on it called Laborers in the Vineyard in conference in 2012. For sure watch it! It is amazing. Good job working harder to follow promptings. I have been trying to get better at that as well. I am not sure if I am, but I am trying.
Some highlights of our week:
We got our Jewish investigator, Robert, who has been getting taught by missionaries for 6 months, to come to church for the first time on Sunday and it went great! We brought up baptism with him and he doesn't feel like he is ready. Hopefully that will change soon, though.
Some fun things that happened this week:
Elder Smith and I built a fort for weekly planning in our bedroom. Coker, the member we live with, thought that it was the funniest thing ever. We did exchanges with the Zone Leaders and I got to spend a day with Elder Kleine who is the German Elder. He is awesome. Also on Saturday we got to go to the Mission Home to carve pumpkins. Disregard how awful our pumpkin is.
When Elder Smith and I were tracting this week we found a cat and started playing with it with our lazer pens. It grew fond of us and we grew fond of it and named it Gary. He followed us to every door. He even would come when called. We considered taking it home but figured we better not. Regretting not taking him home now. Also the Lincoln sisters bought me a super dope scarf.
I am loving the WA-TAC, and loving being a missionary! Thank you for always praying for me!!
