Another great and busy week!!
Hi Mom & Dad!
We had a fireside in Elma this week - which is the Zone that Raymond was in. Raymond is still pretty far away, but close enough to have a couple of the members come. It was great to see Sister Hamilton and her family, and so great that she text you that picture.
(Sister Hamilton from Raymond, WA text this picture over to me with this text message)
It was so much fun to see Elder Green and Elder Webber together again! They really jump started the missionary work in Raymond and we love them!
They were part of a beautiful musical fireside honoring the Savior tonight! Thank you for raising such a fine son! With love, Heather Hamilton :)
The People in the picture are the Hamilton's of course. Their family is huge. The girl with black hair is named Mackel and the boy on the far right is her son. Elder Webber and I started teaching them - and they and their friend Kelsey are the newest members of the Raymond Ward, so it was really cool for me to see them. COOL STORY: Webber and I were talking to her (Mackel) and said something about how it was a good thing she referred herself through mormon.org (because that is how we found her). She looked at us kind of surprised and said "no I didn't". We were confused, and she said that what happened was she was in Long Beach, just South of Raymond, and her life was going terribly. Somebody called her and it was the wrong number. She got talking to them and she told them she was having a hard time. They asked if she wanted somebody to come by to help her and she said she would. Then whoever that was referred her to mormon.org and now she is a member! It was pretty cool. Miracles are so small but so amazing!!
This week we found a couple pretty cool new people. One girl was found by other missionaries in Lakewood. They were knocking doors and she was at her friends house and answered the door. The missionaries told her about the Book of Mormon and stuff and she was really interested. They referred her to us and we went to go see her. She is awesome! Her name is Jon'Tavia and she is pretty excited about meeting with us. She came to Stake Conference on Sunday and I think she liked it. It was kind of weird this Sunday. Stake Conference was at a high school gymnasium because we had Elder Resume of the Seventy come and speak. He gave an amazing talk about the atonement.
I got your package and it is exactly the right scripture marker. Thank you so much! I love the package too, its a lot of fun!
I don't know what will happen with transfer calls this Saturday, but I think Kleine is going to Bremerton and Peck and I are staying. But that's just a guess.
Thanks for sending that funny picture of Geddes and me being chased by a dog! The missionary in the front looks exactly like Geddes! Eye brows and everything! ha ha
(I sent this picture to Blake this week because it reminded me of Blake & Elder Geddes's story about their bad dog experience when they were companions. They had to jump over the fence to get away.)
