Week 7 in Raymond

Week 7 - Letter & pictures from Elder Green

August 26, 2013

Hi Mom!

I'm glad to see that you got that text from Sister Hamilton. She feeds us all the time. They are the coolest family in the world. They have 8 kids! Crazy huh? Sister Hamilton and Brother Hamilton are so cool though and they help us so much. I told her about how you text missionaries moms and she got all excited about the idea.

(This picture and the text below was sent to Sis Green & Sis Webber from Sis Hamilton)

Dear Sister Green & Sister Webber,
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful, faithful, diligent, obedient sons with us!  We love them!  They are doing so well here in Raymond and are doing so much to revitalize the missionary efforts in our area!  They are both exceptional missionaries!  We feel very grateful that they are serving in our area!  You both must be amazing mothers to have raised such fine sons!  It is my hope that you will see Father's great blessings pouring into your lives because of your sons outstanding service!  Thank you again for sharing them and supporting them!  They are doing the Lords work and many, many people are being blessed for their efforts!

With lots of love and a grateful heart,
Sister Heather Hamilton  :)

This week was a little slow but we should have a baptism on Saturday. Kris Strayhorn received the Priesthood on Sunday and is baptizing his 9 year old daughter Alexis who we have been teaching. Kids these days have more gospel knowledge than I do. She was talking to us about adam-ondi-aman. Who taught her that? Anyway you should be expecting some pictures next week. They are my favorite family!!

One of the towns in our area is Westport.  Its a small tourist town North of Raymond - and a beautiful drive.  Its so cool to see the ocean and there are cranberry fields just like the Ocean Spray commercials.  We did some tracting on the beach on Friday, and also attended church in Westport.

Glad to hear Sage is getting better. Poor girl. I miss her a lot. As a missionary I have a lot of encounters with dogs and admittedly am starting to loose my faith is the species. It makes me miss Sage because she is the coolest dog in the world.

Love you lots and keep updating me on the stuff at home. I am loving it here in the WA-TAC!!!

Love Elder Green

P.S. Washington has a ton of spiders. I have killed an unreasonable amount here and the other day I killed one that was like 2 inches in diameter!
