Transferred to....Tacoma! (just a different Ward)
Hi Mom & Dad
So looks like you got a spoiler alert for transfers haha but yeah I am now the Tacoma East Zone Leader with Elder Kleine (he is German)! I am super excited! I am in a foursome again and we are training and follow up training the other two missionaries I think. I don't remember the kid who we are follow up training but we get our new greenie today at transfer meeting. I am glad that I am staying so close to Lincoln because it makes everything way easier. I am even going to be in the same Church building. Saying goodbye to Ward members wasn't very sad because it was like "see you Sunday." haha! This next transfer is going to be awesome! Wapato Park is the Ward that I am going to and it is a legendary Ward. It sounds like they have a lot of good things going on.
As of right now I do not know my new address but I will get it to you as soon as possible. I guess just send my stuff to Cokers house for now and I will get it when I get it haha -or you can send it to the Mission Office. Either one is just as far so whichever you want. I have been loving my 12 days of Christmas, you really went all out didn't you? The anticipation everyday is killing me haha.
The baptism this weekend was so amazing! The girl we baptized has been being taught for a way long time so she had a ton of Ward support when she got baptized. Her best friend bore a crazy powerful testimony on baptism and the spirit was so strong. I wish you could have seen it. Her best friends dad performed the ordinance which was a really special thing too. Everything was just perfect. My greenie did his first testimony on the restoration and did a good job! I can't believe how awesome it was. I got to confirm her on Sunday which was a really special experience for me. I feel like I worked really hard to help her get baptized, but I feel like my contribution was extremely minimal. That's okay because I think that that is how it is supposed to be. The Lord did everything, the Ward was a huge help and we just taught the lesson. I think that that is what made the baptism so special.
