MERRY CHRISTMAS and a Baptism!

 

 

Hi Mom & Dad!!

So great to talk to you on Christmas!!  I miss you a lot!  I remember when I talked to you both on Mothers day and after I thought "Man it is going to be a really long time till I get to talk to them again." and that just happened.   It is so cool that technology allows us to do that.  It is crazy to think that next Christmas will be the last time you talk to me before I come home.  It is crazy how fast my mission is going.

How was your Christmas? It was pretty weird here- haha -it kind of just felt like another day except we did a lot less work. We went to all the parks in the area and did parquor (spelling?) on the jungle gyms which was way fun. It is crazy in Washington having the weather be so nice for Christmas, not like Utah at all.

Thank you for everything that you sent me for Christmas.  I loved all the 12 days of Christmas and then everything on Christmas day.  Please tell everyone thank you for their cards & letters.  (I got a letter from Aunt Donette, a Christmas card from Desi, Daja and Oak, a Card from both grandparents as well which are all very sweet. I also got a Christmas card from Hannah Hill which was a fun surprise.)  About the shirts, it may be too late to mention but I fit in a small, but a medium might fit better. Either one works though. I have a goal to be too buff to fit in a small by the end of my mission!  ha ha

This weekend was pretty amazing- we had a baptism. I didn't have a whole lot to do with it but it was still way rad to be involved at all. It was a girl in high school named CJ who is super awesome. She was so excited and the coolest part was that it was two of our companions first baptisms! I had such a great time. It is so worth all the hard times when you get to be a part of God's work and see the Gospel change peoples lives.  I love being a missionary!!!
