Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving was a lot of fun. Our Zone (the Tacoma East Zone) got together and we played the missionaries in the Tacoma West zone at football in a Turkey Bowl. We won all the games but one. I even caught a couple passes! That is really good for me given how unathletic I am.

We then went to Federal way for dinner and took pictures of Tacoma from Federal Way. It was dark so the pictures definitely don't do it justice. It was awesome, though.

It was pretty standard Thanksgiving food with some Samoan food items in the mix. We jumped between a couple of families just to say hello and eat some more food haha. The Members here really are great. I am picking up on a few super basic Samoan words and phrases. I wouldn't say I am really learning the language however.
Unfortunately our baptism didn't go through this weekend. One of the daughters in the family that we were going to baptize was pregnant and lost the baby so the baptism got put off while the family grieves. It is super sad. We got to teach her about the Plan of Salvation though and I think that it helped a little bit.
