Miracles are on the horizon

Hi Mom, Hi Dad,

This week was a pretty crazy week for us, filled with a lot of ups and downs. This week we went to the funeral of our investigators baby that passed away.  It was sad.

We were also the special guests at a luau that one of our investigators, the Pe'a family, put on for their 2 year old grand daughter (Samoans throw some serious parties).  We found a really sick family who is way golden, the Fio family, but we can't meet with them for a week because the wife, Crystal, is having a baby this week.  They are way cool, though.  We had a really good first discussion with them and they asked awesome questions I.E. what does it mean to be sealed together as a family?  We have some super high hopes for them.  There is so much potential here in the Allenmore Ward and we are doing all that we can to have some great success.

This week also had it's fair share of set backs and disappointments. We had a lot of people drop us, a lot of really solid people, too.  One of which being one of our investigators who was on date for the 20th of December, Jireh.  I would really appreciate your prayers that we can start meeting with her again and get her working towards baptism on a different date.

Despite any setbacks, Elder Ivie and I are very hopefully about this next week and we are trying to exercise our faith to the best of our ability.  We feel like a lot of miracles are on the horizon.

That is pretty crazy that Colton is back from his mission already. I am positive that he was an amazing missionary. He is awesome.  I'm glad he's going to the YSA ward.  I am definitely excited to go back to the singles ward again (at least there I won't need to wear headphones to understand sacrament meeting haha). I loved it when I was there but I think it will be even better when I go this time because people will be closer to my age. I still look so young I bet people are going to ask me when I am going to leave on my mission haha.

I love the pictures that you sent me of Zeke playing. He is so freaking cute! I love him!  He just looks like a little ball of energy.

That is awesome that you got to feed the missionaries. I am glad that you were understanding about rescheduling with them. That is always so relieving when members are chill about stuff like that because sometimes scheduling everything as a missionary can get kind of crazy.

I have been teaching about eternal families a lot lately and it has really helped me realize what a blessing I have to have an eternal family. That definitely is something that I have taken for granted my whole life, but I am so grateful for you living worthily to give me that blessing.

Love you, mom!  Love you, Dad!

Have an awesome week! Not too much longer and we get to Skype!

With love,
Elder Green
